2. The background and purpose of the programs of the Department of Business Administration and the Leading Department for Internationalization
A. The enhancement of the internationalization capacity of the South Korean students within the Department of Business Administration
- The Department of Business Administration is currently running various undergraduate education specialization programs to train creative and convergent international talents based on entrepreneurship.
- Currently, the Department of Business Administration is operating the Overseas Startup Capability Enhancement Program and Overseas Market Exploration Program, etc., to enhance the internationalization capabilities of South Korean students in the department.
- In addition to these programs, the call for training specialized business administration talents for ASEAN countries that are now the rising stars of the region.
B. The enhancement of the business administration education for the international students of the Department of Business Administration
- Since the chances for international students to join the Department of Business Administration is greater, there is a need for the development of curricular and extra-curricular programs in order to enhance the substantial satisfaction level with the education provided to the international students while managing these students in a more efficient manner.
- In addition to the currently available programs such as the ‘International Student Supporters Program’ and the ‘Integrated Management Program for International Students,’ other programs are enhancing the satisfaction level with the education and the substantial effect of such education among international students, such as the ‘My Friendship Diary Program,’ ‘Global Start-up Idea Competition,’ and the ‘Self-Governing Committee for the Educational Development of the International Students in the Department of Business Administration.’
- It is intended to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business administration education for international students by providing existing courses online or adding new online courses that are exclusively for international students.
